Business Development Assistant Manager/Manager - Floating Infrastructure (Asia & Middle East)

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to join a leading global LNG company, contributing to the development of floating infrastructure solutions and supporting business growth in Asia and the Middle East.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively participate in the development of the company’s strategy for floating infrastructure and adjacent infrastructure in Asia and the Middle East.
  • Build and foster relationships within the LNG industry, identifying and driving new business opportunities in the region.
  • Support marketing efforts, including the preparation of presentation materials and participation in tenders and bids.
  • Lead selected opportunities and prepare client proposals and documentation.
  • Maintain oversight of market trends, potential customers, and ongoing projects across Asia and the Middle East.
  • Assist in building a network of strategic partners to support the execution of business strategies.
  • Negotiate contracts and engage in the continuous improvement of internal processes and procedures.

Qualifications:

Experience/Hard Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree is essential; a Master's degree is desirable.
  • 3-5 years' experience in the Oil & Gas industry, preferably within LNG/LPG business development.
  • Project management experience, ideally linked to infrastructure projects.
  • Technical understanding to present solutions to customers and familiarity with gas supply markets and negotiations.
  • Knowledge of FSU/FSRU contracts is desirable.

Commercial:

  • Strong understanding of LNG markets with the ability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
  • Proven commercial acumen with excellent customer relationship management skills.
  • Strong negotiation abilities with a track record of closing deals.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, especially across different cultures.
  • Creative problem solver who thrives in ambiguous situations.
  • Strong customer focus and the ability to develop long-term relationships and business opportunities.
  • Effective multitasking and time management skills to meet deadlines.
