Our client is a leading European chemicals business and are expanding rapidly in the region. They are currently looking to hire their first HR and Admin manager in Singapore to oversee an office of 11 members based in Singapore.

Working closely with the leadership team in Singapore to help in various aspects of HR.

Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment and Onboarding:

- Coordinate and participate in the recruitment process, including job posting,

screening resumes and conducting interviews.

- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.

 

2. Performance Management:

- Provide support to managers and employees in performance-related matters.

 

3. Training and Development:

- Identify training needs and coordinate relevant training programs for

employees.

- Promote a culture of continuous learning and development within the

organization.

 

4. HR Policies and Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.

- Stay updated on labour laws and regulations to ensure the organization's practices align with legal requirements.

- Assist Div. Head to update staff benefits, update company handbook etc.

 

5. Benefits Administration:

- Propose and execution of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks.

- Administer employees with benefit-related inquiries and issues.

 

6. HR Administration:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.

- Handle HR administrative tasks such as documentation, contracts, and letters.

- Hands on for Employment and dependent pass application, transfer,

cancellation etc.

- Verify staff claims.

- Working on monthly payroll and CPF contributions etc.

 

7. Employee Engagement:

- Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.

- Organize team-building activities and events

 

8. Admin:

- Flight booking

- Hotel booking

 

Successful Applicant:

 

  • 8+ years in a HR manager role with a good blend of established MNC's and emerging brands. You should be agile, problem solving and able to set up key HR processes and be a true business partner to the CEO.
  • You must be able to contribute to all areas of HR and prioritising key tasks will be required.
  • This role is based in Jurong East and works 5 days in office. (Some flexibility is possible)
