Process Compliance Manager - Retail Only (Relocation to Malaysia)
Our client is one of the fastest growing retail brands in Asia and their regional HQ is based in Malaysia. This role is based in KL, Malaysia.
In this dynamic role, you will report to the Regional Financial Controller (Asia) and primarily focus on advancing process improvements and compliance oversight within the company's retail sector, through a hands-on approach.
Main Duties:
- Spearhead and execute cutting-edge process improvement methodologies to elevate operational efficiency and efficacy throughout the Asia region.
- Oversee compliance of internal protocols, policies, and regulatory standards.
- Apply comprehensive knowledge of commercial finance to integrate process improvements with financial objectives.
- Forge close partnerships with various cross-functional teams including senior leadership, to propel process excellence and compliance.
- Create and deliver presentations to senior management, demonstrating the effects of process excellence and compliance matters.
- Bring expertise in problem solving and data analytics to ensure process optimization.
- Develop reports on process enhancements, compliance and audit discoveries for management review.
Ideal candidate should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, or a related field; MBA strongly preferred.
- Prior experience in the retail industry is a requirement, with minimum 5 years of experience in process improvement, compliance and internal audit.
- Certified Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent certification.
- Robust understanding of commercial finance principles and methodologies.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence key stakeholders and present to senior leadership.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Exceptional analytical acumen and problem-solving abilities.
