Reporting to the Fleet Manager, your responsibilities would be as follows:
- Prepare vessel’s maintenance plans for assigned vessels
- Monitor of vessel’s maintenance works based on the vessel’s maintenance plan
- Evaluate the maintenance standard on board assigned vessels, including reporting and execution of breakdown/defect maintenance.
- Management of Survey & Certificates
- Prompt management of incidents and accidents, including root cause analysis and preventive measures
- Timely preparation of inspections and dry dockings including regular written reports
- Maintain the latest versions of vessel plans and manuals
- Vessel visits at stipulated intervals and submission of visit report
- Co-ordination of activities between vessels and office
- Daily performance monitoring of the vessels
- Implement the company’s Objectives of the team
- Marine casualty management as per IMS
- Arrangements, costing and attendance for insurance repairs
- Arrangement of spares, stores, lubricants, paints etc. for vessels
- Prepare the vessel budgets, including regular updates of budget and cost control
- Management of environmental, safety standards and maintenance advice to vessels
- Appraisal of crew on board for the vessel in charge
Job Requirement
- Candidate must hold Chief Engineer’s Certificate of Competency
- Minimum 2 years LNG/LPG sailing experience at management level or minimum 2 years superintendent experience
- Good understanding of Dual Fuel Engines, LNG Cargo containment and handling system
- Good communication and inter-personal skills
